Home Sweet Home

Well, believe it or not, we have by some miracle found a new (beautiful home) in our hometown, had all our home goods delivered after being in storage for 11 months, and somehow managed to be semi-settled. Good Lawd, that was a long road. But I am happy to say we are on our way to feeling settled after so much time on the go!

Now that settling is inevitable, the next natural question is "what next?".

Now my brain has slightly more room to think about the next steps for Hayley Gray Textiles. In our state of unrest in our sweet little beach rental, I continued to draw, expanded some techniques, stocked up on supplies and dreamed about my stuff in storage. In other creative ventures, I joined this amazing quilting guild with my adorable Mother where I got to really dive into quilting and meet some amazing new quilty friends. I took most of the summer off creatively to focus on some much needed family time and unpacking.

Fast forward to August: the house is on its way to being our sweet, familiar home, I am itching to get back to my quilty friends, and my brain is brimming with new ideas. Next up: Teaching! I have taught fabric printing before but I am really excited to get back into the swing! IN the prep for the class, I'm looking for help from YOU! What types of things would you want to see in a 101 class? What stops you from trying this form of textile art? Whats the one thing you wished you could do with Fabric printing?

I'm really excited to share some of these techniques with friends and our community!! I hope you join in!
